By the end of this, you'll have actionable tips that you can start using today to see immediate results.

Let’s jump straight in:

1. Schedule Your Posts in Advance:

Consistency is key in social media marketing, but posting in real-time isn’t always feasible. Use scheduling tools like Meta which is FREE and absolutely perfect for small businesses, or set up Later to plan your posts ahead of time. Dedicate one day a week to schedule all your posts, ensuring that your social media remains active even during your busiest days.

2. Repurpose Existing Content

Don’t reinvent the wheel for every post. Repurpose your existing content by turning blog posts into social media snippets, creating quote graphics from articles, or sharing old but relevant posts. This saves time and maximises your content’s reach. You want to be reaffirming your core messaging, not creating new messages every time. Flip it around and reframe your content to keep your messaging consistent.

3. Utilise User-Generated Content

If it’s relevant, encourage your customers/clients to create content for you. User-generated content (UGC) is not only a time-saver but also builds trust with your audience and a lot of the time, social proof is what drives conversions. Share testimonials, photos, and reviews from your customers on your social media channels.

4. Batch Create Your Visuals

Creating visual content can be time-consuming. Start with a set of designed templates already in line with your branding and batch create your graphics, photos, and videos in one go. Use tools like Canva for graphics or schedule a single day for photo and video shoots. This way, you have a ready-to-use library of visuals. For the week, I save all my content in the same Canva file, it helps me see the overall visual vibe for the week!

5. Focus on One or Two Platforms

It’s tempting to be everywhere, but spreading yourself too thin can lead to burnout. Focus on one or two platforms where your audience is most active. Master those before expanding to others. I focus my time on Instagram and I also extend to Facebook. But start somewhere, where your audience hangs out would be the best place!

6. Use Analytics to Guide Your Strategy

Regularly review your social media analytics to understand what’s working and what isn’t. Platforms like Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, provide valuable data to help you make informed decisions. Need a hand?
